Download IRL Bonded
The streaming app, the Android bonding client, and everything you need to run your own server.
Start here
Install the streaming app on the phone you'll be streaming from.
IRL Bonded for iPhone & iPad
The main streaming app. Capture, bond your connections, encode, and send the stream to an IRL Bonded server. This is the one to install first.
Android bonding app
Adds an Android phone's cellular connection to a stream running on iOS. It contributes bandwidth — it does not stream.
If you're streaming, you need the iOS app. The streaming app is iPhone and iPad only right now.
The Android app is a bonding client. It lets an Android phone donate its cellular connection to a stream running on an iPhone, the same way a second iPhone would. It won't start a stream by itself, so it's not a replacement for the iOS app.
The Apple apps are distributed through TestFlight, Apple's beta platform. If you don't have TestFlight installed, the link will prompt you to get it from the App Store first, then send you back to install IRL Bonded.
TestFlight builds expire periodically and are capped at a fixed number of testers. If a link says a build is full or unavailable, email support@irlbonded.com and we'll sort it out.
Self-hosted servers
Optional. Run the server on your own hardware instead of ours — usually for lower latency, since the server sits physically closer to you.
Apple Silicon Mac
The most capable of the self-hosted options. Best pick if you have an M-series Mac that can stay powered and online during streams.
Apple TV
Runs quietly on hardware that's already plugged in and wired to your network. A good always-on server if you have one spare.
iPhone or iPad
Turns a spare iOS device into your server. Handy if you already have an older phone or tablet sitting in a drawer.
Our cloud servers work out of the box and need nothing installed. Self-hosting is worth it when you want a server physically nearer to you, or you'd rather pay a flat monthly fee than per gigabyte.
The self-hosted server guide walks through the trade-offs, and pricing compares the two side by side.
