Why iPhone users cannot run IRL Pro
IRL Pro is one of the most capable IRL streaming apps on Android. It offers free connection bonding, HEVC encoding, chat overlays and SRTLA support, and it is well liked for good reason. Plenty of iPhone owners search for "IRL Pro iOS" or "IRL Pro for iPhone" — the app is not on the App Store, and there is no iOS build.
If you are on iPhone and want what IRL Pro offers, there are two realistic options:
- Moblin — free and open source, with a more basic feature set
- IRL Bonded — multi-device bonding, cloud servers and multistreaming built in

What IRL Bonded adds
Cloud servers included
IRL Pro expects you to arrange a separate cloud OBS server. IRL Bonded includes servers in the subscription.
Drop protection
When the connection goes on IRL Pro, the stream ends. IRL Bonded shows viewers a holding screen and reconnects on its own.
Built-in multistreaming
Send to Twitch, Kick, YouTube, X and Facebook at once, without configuring each output by hand.
Multi-device bonding
Bond several iPhones for more redundancy than one phone's Wi-Fi and cellular can provide on its own.
How the bonding differs
IRL Pro bonds a single phone's Wi-Fi and cellular connections. That works, and for a lot of streams it is enough. The limitation is that you are still relying on one antenna, one battery and one carrier's coverage where you happen to be standing.
IRL Bonded bonds across devices instead. Two, three or four iPhones each contribute their own cellular connection, so when one dips the others absorb it. That is more redundancy — and also more phones to carry and charge, which is a real trade-off rather than a free win.
- IRL Pro: one phone, Wi-Fi plus cellular — two paths
- IRL Bonded: up to four phones, four independent cellular paths

Common questions
Is there an IRL Pro app for iPhone?
No. IRL Pro is Android only. IRL Bonded is the iOS alternative, offering SRTLA bonding, HEVC encoding and chat overlays built natively for iPhone.
What is the best IRL streaming app for iOS?
IRL Bonded covers multi-device bonding, HEVC encoding, drop protection, multistreaming and cloud servers in one app. Moblin is a free, open-source alternative with a more basic feature set.
Can I bond connections on iPhone like IRL Pro does on Android?
Yes. IRL Bonded bonds several iPhones together, combining cellular from multiple devices into one stream. That gives more redundancy than single-device Wi-Fi plus cellular bonding, at the cost of carrying more phones.
Is IRL Bonded free like IRL Pro?
IRL Pro's app is free but needs a separate paid server for drop protection and overlays. IRL Bonded bundles app, bonding, cloud servers and multistreaming from $15 per month, or $0.15/GB pay as you go.
